We hold the environmental ISO140001 standard, as well as having achieved COC Forestry Stewardship Council chain of custody certification and FISP accredited.
Carbon footprint
For the past few years we have made calculations for our Carbon Footprint with help from the Carbon Trust, ClimateCare and Pure. As a result our awareness pertaining to energy consuption has been heightened throughout the company. This has enabled us to achieve a reduction of 15% in real terms since 2004 to date. We have set a target of a further 5.6% for this year.
Our ongoing continual improvement program involves raising the awareness amongst all our employees, suppliers and other stakeholders about the need to reduce carbon levels year-on-year.
