Templestock recognises its responsibilities towards protecting the environment and is committed to continuous improvement in all business activities. Templestock is always dedicated to achieving environmental goals, both for the company and for customers.
Templestock holds the environmental ISO14001 standard, as well as having achieved COC Forestry Stewardship Council chain of custody certification and FISP accreditation.

Carbon footprint

Over the past few years, Templestock has been calculating its carbon footprint through assistance from the Carbon Trust, ClimateCare and Pure. As a result, awareness has been raised regarding energy consumption throughout the company. This has enabled a reduction of energy consumption of 15% in real terms since 2004 to date, in which a target of a further 5.6% has been set for this year.

Templestock’s ongoing continual improvement programme involves raising the awareness amongst all employees, suppliers and other stakeholders about the need to reduce carbon levels year-on-year.
